FOSTER TO ADOPT

*NOT ALL ADOPTABLE ANIMALS ARE PART OF THIS PROGRAM*

Some of our fosters are very shy and do well given time in a home to decompress. 

Please check out the animal's bio to see if they are part of this program. 

We give you 30 days with the animal you are planning to adopt, if it goes well you are able to finalize the adoption. 

During the 30 days, you would be like a foster with us and MUST follow foster protocol. Until you finalize the adoption the animal is still under our care and all decisions regarding the animal must be approved by your main of contact at The Furry Paws Foster Inn.

When you pick up your animal for the "trial" adoption you will be asked to pre-sign the adoption contract and sign a volunteer wavier.

You will receive the animal's folder, which is typically given to an adopter minus the medical paperwork. We will go over the medical paperwork with you but since it is a trial adoption you will not be able to keep it in your possession. 

At time of finalizing the adoption you will be emailed all medical paperwork and a dated adoption contract that you have signed. After receiving the payment of the adoption fee. 

You don't have to wait until the full 30 days to decide to finalize the adoption.
